#16715 new defect

Tayga not working on TP-Link TL-WDR3600 (wrong checksum on IPv4 side)

Reported by: dts12 Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: Tayga Cc:

Description

Tayga is not working on the TP-LINK TL-WDR3600 with OpenWrt 12.09.
With tcpdump I recorded the messages on the IPv4 side and
analyzed them with Wireshark. The checksum of the ICMP Content is wrong.
Goole search pointed out that Tayga 0.9.2 has an issue with Big Endian architecture, which includes the TP-Link.
More, including patch, can be found on this page: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=82329
How is the procedure to get a patched package to validate it and report the results?

No answer on my ticket, so I went through the openwrt build process and can confirm that the patch from the referred URL is working and included the fixed package.

I can confirm that applying the patch fixes the issue. I've attached updated source package with patch included as well as fixed a typo in makefile (PAKAGE instead of PACKAGE).
