#16694 new defect

iptables TRACE not working

Reported by: katananja Owned by: developers
Priority: response-needed Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: Cc:

Description

TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1, trunk r41002.

I've a build the necessary module "kmod-ipt-debug" into the final kernel:

lsmod|grep TRACE
xt_TRACE 496 0

But after a simple command:

iptables -t raw -I OUTPUT -p icmp -j TRACE
iptables v1.4.21: Couldn't load target `TRACE':No such file or directory

Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.

  • Priority changed from normal to response-needed

Did you include "iptables-mod-debug" as well?

Replying to jow:

Did you include "iptables-mod-debug" as well?

There's no such option.
