#16362 new defect

Plink_action open/block not working when using authsae

Reported by: csandu00@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: authsae plink_action not working Cc:

Description

I am using Openwrt BARRIER BREAKER (Bleeding Edge, r40668)

I declare a mesh interfaces in /etc/config/wireless:

config wifi-iface mesh0
	option device radio0
	option network mesh0
	option ifname	mesh0
	option mode mesh
	option mesh_id	'Kmesha'
	option macaddr	'00:ba:ba:be:be:02'
	option key	'keykey'

The mesh starts fine:

root@OpenWrt:~# iw dev mesh0 mpath dump
DEST ADDR NEXT HOP IFACE SN METRIC QLEN EXPTIMEDTIM DRET FLAGS
00:ba:ba:be:be:01 00:ba:ba:be:be:03 mesh0 121 512 0 0 100 0 0x4
00:ba:ba:be:be:03 00:ba:ba:be:be:03 mesh0 0 127 0 0 00 0x10

However, I cannot block/open plinks using iw:

root@OpenWrt:~# iw mesh0 station set 00:ba:ba:be:be:01 plink_action block
command failed: Invalid argument (-22)

If I comment on all routers the "option key 'keykey'" (so I am nou using authsae anymore), I can use the above command:

root@OpenWrt:~# iw mesh0 station set 00:ba:ba:be:be:01 plink_action block
root@OpenWrt:~#

I've also been working with Attitude Adjustment, r36088 and plink block also doesn't work there when using AuthSAE, only it doesn't return an error message.

on CC r46302 i also see the command failed: Invalid argument (-22).

both llid and plid remain 0 and ping doesn't work.

i'm using packages wpad and authsae.
