Can you confirm the bug is still present with the latest 2.6.22.1 kernel?

comment:6 Changed 10 years ago by rootkit85@…

Well, the warnings are still, but the system works.
I had 13 days uptime

Just run

nc -lp 2007 > /dev/null

on the router

nc 192.168.1.1 2007 < /dev/zero

on the PC and you get those warnings followed by a panic:

Not sure if this is the same or if it's actually #2506 (or a combination of the two) but I was SSH'd into the router with NO large network transfers (i.e. just interactive SSH traffic), when the router crashed.

I have just tried the netcat test mentioned above, but the router did NOT crash.

Soon afterwards, while doing nothing more than a little interactive SSH it crashed again. Both times I was fiddling with dnsmasq:

Updated to r9325 and it has not crashed yet, but I do get "hw error, resetting..." messages:

OK, it still crashes :)

It hangs at this point, with this on the serial console (first few lines as above, since I hadn't rebooted):
