Router reboots when listen to the mpd-full and download files in same time

Description

Like in subject, CPU load isn't high. Router just freeze and reboots unexpectedly.

please compile your image with debugging symbols enabled, otherwise the crashlog is mostly useless.

O man :) ... i will try, but it could take some time (I just build fresh AA), i noticed that it is not related with mpd exactly, but with whole usb subsystem i think. My configuration is like follows:

  • Edimax 3g-6200n with active (power supply 5v 2A) hub x4 usb ports
  • 1 usb port Pendrive 2G Kingostone with extrooted openwrt
  • 2 port RNDIS ZTE MF63
  • 3 port usb audio card
  • 4 port fan for cooling edimax down :)

I made 2 test today like follows - both ended with crash:

  1. mpd plays and speedtest.net launched = crash
  2. mpd disabled (daemon not running) but I made some writes (dmesg > /path/to/file) in endless loop to check system and i had run speedtst.net in background = crash

so it dosen't look like mpd stuff but usb in openwrt, when usb subsystem is used extremaly hard openwrt crashes without noise :)

BB seems to work fine :) - I made same test as before (on AA) and it works :DTC!!!
