patches work now, but it's not building on ixp4xx:

armeb-linux-uclibc-gcc -Os -pipe -mcpu=xscale -funit-at-a-time -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes
  -Wpointer-arith -Winline -Wdeclaration-after-statement -Wendif-labels -fno-strict-aliasing
  -I../../../../src/include -I/home/rherget/openwrt/staging_dir_armeb/usr/include
  -I/home/xxx/openwrt/staging_dir_armeb/include -D_GNU_SOURCE   -c -o float.o float.c
float.c:113: error: static declaration of 'cbrt' follows non-static declaration

you need to enable C99 math in the developer menu and rebuild your toolchain. a fix for that is pending, seems to be a dependcy check issue.

make toolchain/{clean,install}

see if that resolves your issue.

broken for me too. test your damn upgrades if they work correctly. if you don't how howto do things correctly leave them alone. sorry, if you take this as an offensive but everytime you upgrade something it's broken :(
