Description

Hello, I am at home I have 100 megabit with the speed test without the router do 94 megabits download, instead of the router with a maximum of 50.
I use the trunk version updated about 2 days ago.
I wanted to know if it 'a router problem that can not go faster or in the future there will be some fixes that settle the matter.
The router and 'a linksys E3000.
Thanks

See:

Broadcom uses some magic module doing the NAT, that's how they achieve high speeds. Normally on BCM4706 130Mb/s is a maximum for the CPU. Since BCM4718A1 is a bit slower, I guess it can handle only ~50 Mb/s.

There is no open source re-implementation of CTF we could use. So you're stuck at 50 Mb/s, because of the CPU speed.

I'm sure ctf.ko is just configuring some offload hardware that actually does the forwarding/mangling. Packets handled by the CTF hardware would never reach ctf.ko or any part of the OS.
