DHCPv6 error assigning IPv6 addresses

Reported by: zzz2002 Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: base system Version: Trunk

Description

There appears to be an error assigning IPv6 using DHCPv6.
The ip6hint value is either being ignored or misinterpreted when generating the ip6 prefix.
In my network configuration the ip6hint for the LAN interface is set to 30, which should have resulted in dynamic addresses with a prefix of 2001:470:b183:30::/64 being assigned to clients.
What is getting handed out is 2001:470:b183:0::/64.
The address assigned to the LAN interface on the router, the routes generated, etc are as expected.
The result is that IPv6 between the LAN and the rest of the world does not work.
The error is consistent across a number of systems with varying opsys.
attached are output from windows ipconfig, openwrt network and dhcp config files.
