I think it's very rare bug, saw it only once in 2 years.

Same hardware, same problem here. Except my version is r39397. I do not see it on TL-WR1043N/ND using r39304 so it might be hardware specific. Is TPLink TR-WR841 similar to 941 enough to test it there?

TP-Link TL-WR941N/ND v3
OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r39457 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r9951)

After flashing r39457 log is always full of these messages. On every reboot.

Stupid trac thinks this comment is spam :(

comment:5 Changed 4 years ago by hojuruku@…

i verify it is happening on a tp-link 941-nd.

I'm attempting to fix it now. Hint... eth0 shouldn't be doing anything! it's part of the strange bridging setup on the tp-link routers.

It's been assigned an ipv6 link local address by default even though proto = none in uci.
Also /proc/sys/net/conf/ipv6/eth0 doesn't exist so how does one configure this?

The messages aren't bugging me, but the fact, that the router seems to stop RX communication on br-lan and both wireless networks are unable to connect (1 in br-lan, 1 in br-wan) after a day or two of uptime - nothing special in the log. Adding/removing eth0 from br-lan seems to have no effect, but "/etc/init.d/network restart" does bring the network back.

Having the same problem with a WR941 v3.5... any clues about this?

comment:9 Changed 4 years ago by anonymous

Same problem here... please suggest something.

Same problem, i have a TP-Link TL-WR941N/ND v2, and i use OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r40756 / LuCI Trunk (svn-r10180).

comment:11 follow-up: Changed 4 years ago by d.theisen@…

I'm running a node under high load (72 clients) now and I'm seeing the same message in a WDR3500ND:

Thu Jun 26 15:33:44 2014 kern.warn kernel: [15577.090000] net_ratelimit: 1121 callbacks suppressed

At the same time, I'm seeing a lot of these:

Thu Jun 26 15:31:54 2014 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0-1: STA b4:f0:ab:9b:b0:94 IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 7)
Thu Jun 26 15:32:54 2014 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0-1: STA b4:f0:ab:9b:b0:94 IEEE 802.11: disassociated
Thu Jun 26 15:32:55 2014 daemon.info hostapd: wlan0-1: STA b4:f0:ab:9b:b0:94 IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity (timer DEAUTH/REMOVE)

At the same time, the client statistics seems to hit a hard limit at 72 users.
Any explanation for that?
