On gateway 7001 it appears as if the jffs2 partition is formatted straight away on first boot which leaves it empty. (tried self compiled and the downloadable snapshots - gcc 4.1.1 and gcc 4.1.2) - no squashfs images are generated for xscale at all so I cannot test that.

Any more information needed ask. (priority high as could (?) affect all xscale targets)

  • Priority changed from highest to lowest

We are using the combined squashfs+jffs2 layout, so this is low priority now - if it even worth to fix.

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

decided to simply ignore this, the combined layout works nicely
