#14078 closed defect (fixed)

Linksys NSLU2 won't boot with r37832. r37831 works; so does setting linux to 3.10.4

Reported by: Mike Brady <mikebrady@…> Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: Cc:

Description

A standard build of trunk to r37832 will not complete booting on an NSLU2 to the point where you can ping or telnet to it. Reverting to r37831 fixes the problem.

Manually changing the Linux Version to 3.10.4 (from 3.10.9) also fixes the problem. In fact, this allows the latest build -- r37834 -- to boot.

Please test which version between .4 and .9 broke it.

NSLU2 boots on r37855 w/ 3.10.9 kernel. May have been fixed by r37854?

I'm 99.9% sure this was the issue, so I'm closing it as fixed; thanks for reporting.
