Some additional logging, didnt see the "received packet on eth0.1 with own address as source address", although I'm not sure if it's relevant.

again both devices were upgraded.

I've tried to run wpa_supplicant manually but the wifi interface doesn't "exist" until normal wifi scripts are run, so I'm not sure how to provide better debug information / logs.

comment:6 Changed 5 years ago by nbd

run make target/linux/clean, then rebuild

comment:7 Changed 5 years ago by anonymous

previous build was after a dirclean, but I tried a target/linux/clean now too with r37345, still the problem remains.

comment:8 Changed 5 years ago by nbd

found another corner case, please try r37347 (again with target/linux/clean, dirclean is unnecessary)

comment:9 Changed 5 years ago by anonymous

r37347 fixed it. thanks!

ATM using r37374 on ar71xx with own firewall script using physdev;
updated from r????? (Beginning of June 2013) there: no such problems!
now I get:
Fri Jul 19 12:55:06 2013 auth.err kernel: [ 2154.640000] IPT_FORWARD-Rej IN=br-lan OUT=eth0.1 PHYSIN=eth0.2 MAC=xx:xx SRC=192.168.1.12 DST=173.194.112.176 LEN=60 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=63 ID=58274 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=58852 DPT=443 WINDOW=14600 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0
Fri Jul 19 12:55:06 2013 auth.err kernel: [ 2154.670000] IPT_FORWARD-Rej IN=br-lan OUT=eth0.1 PHYSIN=eth0.2 MAC=xx:xx SRC=192.168.1.12 DST=173.194.112.176 LEN=60 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=63 ID=48385 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=58853 DPT=443 WINDOW=14600 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0
after each reboot. it helps to restart the firewall.

Too vague, no way for us to support your unknown custom scripts and finally not even remotely related to the issue reported in this ticket.
