No Wan connectivity on Dlink DIR-600 B1 router

Description

I built an OpenWrt firmware for my DLink DIR-600 B1 following the instructions on the openwrt's DIR 600 wiki page.
The build process and installation was fine, but after boot the router I noticed that wan interface couldn't get IP configuration (dhcp) from my provider's cable modem.
After some test listening the wan interface using tcpdump on the router and on a linux box also I realized that traffic coming from modem get in on the interface, but traffic going out doesn't. I noticed also that connections to the router through lan interface sometimes freezes for long periods of times. The wireless interface appears to work fine, and I didn't detect any unusual message on dmesg nor logread.
Is the described behavior a known issue? Is there some way to fix that?
