The hotplug2 package has been dropped since it is not needed anymore, simply omit it from the PACKAGES="..." variable.

Hey Jow,

I just got the same issue... Can you provide some example line, how to exclude a Package?

Thanks!

Either

make image PACKAGES="-hotplug2"

or a permanent workaround:

sed -i -e 's/ hotplug2//g' include/target.mk
make image

IBs built after r37132 will have the fix included.

Replying to jow:

Hi Jow,
I use 3G connection on my one-year old OpenWrt, using hotplug. Now after openWrt update, hotplug2 is missing, hotplug2.rules file is mising, so my script /etc/hotplug.d/tty/30-3g is not handled by hotplug2. How to fix this in new openwrt version?
Thanks,
Voyo
