How to Install kmod-batman-adv from feeds - Version r35433

Reported by: Sandip Sitapara <s13884neo@…> Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: batman, kernel, network Cc:

I have been trying to build custom firmware for om2p. OpenWRT version (r35433)

Followed instruction mentioned here -> But could not find kmod-batman-adv package in build.

Tried ./scripts/feeds install kmod-batman-adv but it couldn't work and says
"WARNING: No feed for package 'batman-adv' found, maybe it's already part of the standard packages?"

There is no option in make meuconfig->Kernel Modules->Network Support->batman-adv - OpenMesh Ticket for same.

OpenMesh's Comment for same:
On this recent version the OpenWrt? team moved the batman-adv package was to an external feed called "openwrt-routing". Please contact the OpenWrt? community if you require more support for your own images.

So where should I find the kmod-batman-adv package?

Found it on

This is an OpenWrt package feed containing community maintained routing packages.

To use these packages, add the following line to the feeds.conf
in the OpenWrt buildroot:

src-git routing git://

Update the feed:

./scripts/feeds update routing

Activate the package:

./scripts/feeds install -a -p routing

The routing packages should now appear in menuconfig.

Configuration says Layer 3 Routing protocol but Open-Mesh moved it to kernel. So isn't it a kernel module?
