Reboot every ~24 hours, IPTABLES empty after reboot

Description

DLINK DIR-825 rev b2 with AA, vanilla config with only a handful of other packages installed and a persistent /var on attached USB flash drive.

Every 24 hours or so, the router just reboots. I've been unable to determine a cause. I suspect it might be a memory issues, but would like some guidance on how to proceed to get better information.

However, every time it reboots, it comes back up and enables all of the interfaces properly, but the iptables are completely empty. I log in as root and execute '/etc/init.d/firewall restart' and everything is fine. /etc/rc.d/S45firewall is symlinked properly.

Hello. I found source of the problem. It is persistent /var directory in my flash. Because this directory contains ./state/firewall file, system on restart is thincking that firewall allready loaded.
