  • wifi works

Please don't refer to things from that other ticket. The revisions that are mentioned there are meaningless for this issue, because the mentioned changes are for a different driver.

Are there any messages in the kernel log when this happens?

comment:4 Changed 5 years ago by Alexey Kuznetsov <axet@…>

i only mention those things because they match my issues exactly, except router version.

i'm using dir300-b1 and i can configrm:

r36822 works and r36884 not working. i have same log messages like from ticket 13644. i google it, before i found original ticket and 100% sure.

my log messages exactly the same like from comment 12: https://dev.openwrt.org/ticket/13644#comment:12

"authenticated / associated / deauthenticated due to inactivity"

only i'm not home right now and can't reflash.

How sure are you about this - how many times did you test? I don't see any difference in the code that would be relevant for the driver you're using.

i had stable dir-300 + openwrt for a year now. no issues. amazing software.

i come home and reflash it with latest trunk last night.

wifi stops in about 5 minutes after reflash.

i reboot. restore original firmware. reflash. rebuild and reflash again.

wifi stops after 5 min.

i check logs - a lot of "deauthonicated" messages. ethernet connection works fine. all my home wifi devies died.

i google error message. checked last timeline messages fro wifi issues. found a bug report and a revision. rebuild agains r36822 - everying comes back to normal.

im pretty confident it is last trunk issue.

comment:7 Changed 5 years ago by nbd

did you try doing another build with latest trunk?

comment:8 Changed 5 years ago by anonymous

last revision i've tried is r36884. i can try another build at this weekend.

comment:9 Changed 5 years ago by Alexey Kuznetsov <axet@…>
