fw3: can't load library 'libip6tc.so.0'

Reported by: pmlists@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: firewall ipv6 library Cc: pmlists@…

Description

Hi,

When installing latest trunk on Asus WL500GP, the command "/etc/init.d/firewall reload" does not work, because of missing libip6tc.so.0.

How could I please compile fw3 without support for ipv6 (I don't find any option in "make menuconfig")?

TIA, for any hints, Peter

By disabling IPV6 in global build settings.

Also run "make defconfig" - sounds to me like your .config is outdated and not properly refreshed.

IPV6 was already disabled in global build settings.

After "make defconfig" I did "make" again, but fw3 still depends on that ipv6 library... :(

I've also tried: "make package/firewall3/clean" and "make package/fw3/clean", but it does not work.

Any other hints?
TIA, Peter

Thanks.

After "make package/firewall/clean" and then "make", fw3 still depends on /usr/lib/libip6tc.so.0

So I guess, that there is a bug somewhere.
