Tinyproxy package doesn't appare into openwrt menus BUG please check

Reported by: desigabri Owned by:
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: luci Version: Trunk
Keywords: tinyproxy luci package openvpn Cc:

Description

After having copied "/openwrt/trunk/feeds/luci/applications/luci-tinyproxy/luasrc/controller/tinyproxy.lua" file from openwrt sources into "/usr/lib/lua/luci/controller/" directory of the router firmware, then the submenu Tinyproxy APPEARED into menu "Services" of openwrt firmware...

Anyway at this moment it isn't anought because selecting the submenu "Tinyproxy" the output page get this result:

"/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/admin/services/tinyproxy'.
The called action terminated with an exception:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute cbi dispatcher target for entry '/admin/services/tinyproxy/config'.
The called action terminated with an exception:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/cbi.lua:75: Model 'tinyproxy' not found!
stack traceback:

[C]: in function 'assert'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: in function 'dispatch'
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>"

The answer of the problems is to add the Model "tinyproxy" from sources

so just adding "/openwrt/trunk/feeds/luci/applications/luci-tinyproxy/luasrc/model/cbi/tinyproxy.lua" file from openwrt sources to "/usr/lib/lua/luci/model/cbi/" directory of the router firmware, then the Tinyproxy menu started working.

Finally something goes wrong during compilation phase or some compiling scripts, I don't know exactly where please solve this trouble thanks in advance.

please take a look to the ticket 13445: it could PARTIALLY be a similar trouble but I wasn't able to resolve it may be because tinyproxy appear to be installed as service but openvpn doesn't

Uhm, you're not supposed to copy random source files to your router. Install luci-app-tinyproxy if you want a tinyproxy menu.
