Description

Hello

I'm using Asterisk 1.8 with a lantiq modem (SMC7908).
I can't get Asterisk register to a SIP provider.
Asterisk does not register and consumes 100% CPU
Moreover i can't make external calls. But if i comment out the line register, then, i can make external calls.

If i type sip show registry, i get

*CLI> sip show registry
Host dnsmgr Username Refresh State Reg.Time
sip.ovh.net:5060  N      00334825XXXX       120 Unregistered
1 SIP registrations.

Here is my sip.conf

allowguest=yes
alwaysauthreject=yes
udpbindaddr=0.0.0.0:5060
srvlookup=yes
register => 003348253XXXX:mypassword@sip.ovh.net
registerattempts=0
registertimeouts=30
videosupport=no
transport=udp
nat=yes

I found a workaround in OpenWrt forum :
https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=38281
If i replace sip.ovh.net by real ip address, it works : i can receive and send calls.
Or i can set srvlookup=no.
There's already a ticket for this problem /ticket/10974.html
