Bug when changing the Radio-device

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: developers

Description

I add two driver to the image for my Router and have seen following.
When i first add an USB Realtek 8187 device, that have only b and g but no n mode. Turn the device off and change the usb device from the Realtek 8187 to for example an Ralink 3070 device then the wireless device is still only capable to set b and g. When i did an system-data-reset it is possible to set for example g+n mode.

So it seems that it remember the radio-capabilities and after a reboot, it use the same again.

Solution for this were:
a) Every boot it checks and sets the radio-capabilities again

b) When the hardware-MAC changes, it checks and sets the radio-capabilities again

c) It remember the MAC and the "radioX" device stays there and is disabled. The new device with the new MAC get a new clean configuration with a new "radioX".
