#12970 new defect

No wifi with Denon CEOL Devices

Reported by: ew-tech@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Chaos Calmer 15.05
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: denon, ceol, wifi Cc:

Description

Barrier Breaker r35097 on tp-link wr1043nd V1.8

It is inpossible to get the denon ceol running with openwrt. The handshake get lost, the ceol comes through the mac filter, is listed in the router status page. But will not get into the network, rx-rate is shown as 48Mbit and tx-rate as 1.0Mbit.

Used chipset in Denon Devices are unknown to me. With TP-Link stock the device can connect and run. There are more wifi devices that act incompatible when openwrt is running. https://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=30905
