#12951 closed defect (fixed)

fixes for hostapd multiple ssid issues.

Reported by: sagili.tsp@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Attitude Adjustment 12.09 Beta
Keywords: rt350x, rt3352, multiple ssid Cc: openwrt-devel@…

Verified on rt3352: multiple ssid works only if there's no duplicate mac addr. If /etc/config/network does not specify specific mac for a "wifi-iface", then whoever (hostapd/rt2x00?) assign/generate the mac addr need to ensure there's no duplicate. For single ssid, the mac addr stated in "wifi-device" can be the same as the one specified in the (first and only) "wifi-iface". This should close ticket #11337.

changeset 35781 still doesn't work.
File package/mac80211/files/lib/wifi/ need to be corrected. macidx inside enable_mac80211() shall start at 1 if $vifs is more than 1. As attached, the following code insertion works (inserted before the loop):

[ echo $vifs | wc -w -gt 1 ] && macidx=1

I've verified it's working fine. Thanks! Tested trunk #36545.
