Description
Since upgrading to Attitude Adjustment it seems that I can no longer configure interface aliases via luci. Aliases set up in /etc/config/network are working, however they cannot be edited in luci.

Thanks. The interface feels a bit clunky for this now. I missed at first that I was supposed to add the interface name in ifname, not the physical device (although this worked.) The interface also has no firewall zone assigned, which I assume is not an issue since it is covered by the wan interface, however this is not obvious.

Actually, it seems that the ifname does in fact need to be the physical device. I had tested this using the wan interface, however it no longer seems to be working.

- Milestone changed from Attitude Adjustment 12.09 to Barrier Breaker 14.07
Milestone Attitude Adjustment 12.09 deleted
Intentional change made in June: http://luci.subsignal.org/trac/changeset/8787
The preferred way is to setup multiple interface sections for a device.
