Replying to nbd:

Serial. I can see the grub2 boot menu and hit enter. But after that nothing is printed on the serial.

Same here on a Wrap board with recent trunk and Attitude Adjustment branch. Previously I had AA r33310 running without problems. I guess there is something wrong with the partitions since x86 moved to Grub2, because manually installing grub2 to the CF card fails too:

# mount /dev/sde1 /mnt

# grub-install --no-floppy --boot-directory=/mnt/boot /dev/sde
cp: cannot create regular file `/mnt/boot/grub/acpi.mod': No space left on device

# df -h /mnt
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sde1 4.0M 2.0M 1.9M 52% /mnt

After deleting and recreating the boot partition grub-install works and the Wrap successfully boots.
