wbd111/rut104 mtd Partitions ue FIS Table names in kernel 3.3.8

Reported by: lairsdragon@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: kernel Version: Trunk
Keywords: mtd gemini partition wbd-111 rut-104 Cc:

Description

In Kernel 3.3.8 the mtd partition Names are retrieved from the FIS
Table in the Flash insteat of the hardcoded values in the arch source
(arch/arm/mach-gemini/board-wbd111.c) of the kernel.

This leads to the situation that a rootfs_data partition is not
automatically created in the kernel boot and therefore no jffs2
partition will be generated in the further boot process.

Any idea how to fix this problem? Looking at the mtd tools I donts see
a option to name the partition, and even if this works, I like to get
a solution which works without intervention afzter firmware install
