make file for gcc package not working

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: Trunk
Keywords: x86 - gcc Cc:

I run openwrt trunk on a x86.
When I select the development/gcc package - build stops with an error.
maybe there is a copy and paste error in Makefile:

results in gcc-4.6-linaro.tar.bz2
which can not be found on any server

is a valid MD5 of the package make-3.81.tar.bz2

Please let me know if any further information is required.

Well, that gcc package has not been edited in 4 years, so it is not that special that it does not work...

The makefile is actually pretty strange, as it dynamically resolves the version from the gcc used in the toolchain, but still has a fixed MD5 checksum (for an undefined historical gcc version.)

Makefile should have fixed values for both version and MD5, or dynamically pull both from the toolchain definitions.
