#11816 new enhancement

allow creation of unreachable routes in /etc/config/network

There should be a way to do the equivalent of "ip route add unreachable 2001:db8::/48" in /etc/config/network. This is important to prevent routing loops if you have a network prefix routed to your router which also has a default route. I don't see any way to do this according to

More generally, perhaps there should be a way to execute arbitrary commands when an interface goes up or down, like the "up" and "down" options in Debian's /etc/network/interfaces file. This would make it possible to do even more fancy things.

This can be done with scripts in /etc/hotplug.d/iface.
