#11655 new defect

[BR]

Reported by: gustelone@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: packages Version: 10.03.1
Keywords: dropbear, pppoe Cc:

Description

Hello

I have a TP-Link 1043, running Backfire 10.03.1

The Wan Connection is via PPPoE, DDNS is working.
Dropbear is configured to listen on interface LAN Port 22
and on interface WAN Port 1522

Every now and then the PPPoE connection gets Dropped by my Provider.

Within Seconds the connection is reestablished, but then I can't connect anymore via the Wan Connection.

my current work around is:

create a file in /etc/hotplug.d/iface/35-pppoe
put the following code in it and make it executable

#!/bin/sh

[ "$DEVICE" == "lo" ] && exit 0
case "$ACTION" in
	ifup)
	logger "iUp" "Interface $INTERFACE is up"
		/etc/init.d/dropbear restart
	;;
esac
