luci-qos: usability improvements by better "Ports" row description

two simple things. This should either be handled by the (luci-)qos package or at least the user be told about it:

I had two big (simple) problems:

  • a line like "9962, 9965, 9972" in the "Ports" row results in an error like this on command line:
# /etc/init.d/qos start
iptables v1.4.6: invalid port/service `' specified
Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
iptables v1.4.6: invalid port/service `' specified
Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.

Reason are the spaces between the items.

  • also if you have more than x ports in the Ports row, then iptables will complain because it can only handle a certain number of Ports per command line call (I think 12 or something similar). Either luci should split to long lines up to at least the maximum allowed number of iptables. Or the user should be told about the syntax and max length of the Ports row.

The worst is that the failure of /etc/init.d/qos restart becomes obvious only from command line, but not if one uses the luci webinterface. That is, there should be some kind of feedback (e.g. the command line output), otherwise one thinks that luci-qos was successfully restarted which it is actually not.
