#11413 closed defect (worksforme)

DNS entry from /etc/config/network not added to /etc/resolv.conf, causing sysupgrade to fail

Reported by: StefanHamminga Owned by: jow
Priority: low Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: base system Version: Trunk
Keywords: dns sysupgrade resolv.conf Cc:

Description

On a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND: using sysupgrade {url} will not work, wget is unable to resolve the name in the URL. Adding the nameserver manually to /etc/resolv.conf before running sysupgrade will solve the issue.
The DNS on this particular AP is configured statically in /etc/config/network and works when pinging from the commandline.
