did you wait for it to complete the rootfs initialization?

Hi nbd, thank you for your answer.

Yes, I did wait for the rootfs initialization. But after flashing there is nothing much to wait. After 5-10 s I can telnet 9000. After 60-70 s I can telnet 9000 again. And after 140 s I can telnet Open Wrt on

My steps:

telnet 9000
#### DD-WRT>
fis init
ip_address -h
load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-atheros-vmlinux.lzma
fis create -e 0x80041000 -r 0x80041000 vmlinux.bin.l7
load -r -b %{FREEMEMLO} openwrt-atheros-root.squashfs
fis create rootfs

plus sometimes before reset:

fconfig boot_script_timeout 5
fconfig boot_script true
fis load -l vmlinux.bin.l7

Gateway IP address:
Local IP address:
Local IP address mask:
Default server IP address:
Console baud rate: 9600
GDB connection port: 9000
Force console for special debug messages: false
Network debug at boot time: false
Update RedBoot non-volatile configuration - continue (y/n)? y
... Erase from 0xbffe0000-0xbfff0000: .
... Program from 0x80ff0000-0x81000000 at 0xbffe0000: .

could it be something related to #10537 #10405 #10412 #10393 ?

What I mean is when it boots, it typically takes a while to initialize jffs2. This typically runs while you can already log in, after it has started all core services already.
You can check if that's still running by checking if there's a mount process still running.

Please close this ticket. My mistake was:

me@myhost ~ $ ssh

I forgot to submit the user:

me@myhost ~ $ ssh root@

I’m very sorry for stealing your time and opening such a ticket. What should I do as penance? By the way I would like to thank you all for OpenWrt!!!
