#10918 closed enhancement (fixed)

Add/enable 802.11n support using Broadcom wl driver

Reported by: kwestarz@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone: Barrier Breaker 14.07
Component: kernel Version: Trunk

I was possible for me to enable 802.11n using Broadcom wl driver on WRT150N router. Only required option is:

wl wme 1 - already available in interface as WMM Mode, after turning it on,
clients are successfully using N mode.

Some other useful options are:

wl chanspec
wl nreqd
wl nrate
wl leddc 6553600 - without this one WIFI led on my router is not working.

I know that OpenWrt target driver is b43, but I doubt that it will support 802.11n soon. Not so much work is required for Broadcom wl and for sure users will appreciate that.

I am using Backfire 10.03.1 on WRT350N v1. All work fine, but I cannot get 802.11n working. iwconfig shows max 54Mhz.
How can I get this fix working for me (I am a new user of Openwrt)
Thank you in advance for your attention.
