#10499 closed defect (obsolete)

uhttpd certificate generation does not handle commnon names with spaces

Reported by: richard.kunze@… Owned by: developers
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: packages Version: Backfire 10.03.1 RC6
Keywords: Cc:

Description

Automatic certificate generation for uhttpd does not work correctly when the configured common name contains spaces, because the /etc/init.d/uhttpd script does not quote the "-subj" parameter to px5g.

The fix is trivial: Quote the parameter. See attached patch.
