Replying to xtpeloco:
RouterStation pro-10.03.1 Backfire OpenWrt RC6, SuperRange 71-12 - (700mW)

I can not go up to 501mw (27DB), does not exceed 100mW

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

This card has a 10dB tx power offset! Selecting 0 mW in OpenWrt will yield 10 dBm (=10 mW) output power, selecting 17 dBm will yield 27 dBm (500 mW) effective output power.
The power level reporting in RC5 and earlier was wrong, it simply showed regulatory limits and not radio capabilities.

that is correct but it is in and try to put my 20db limit 27DB and pointing to Lucia, but not shown in iwlist txpower

iwlist txpower

Because neither the hardware nor the driver expose such information, an I'm not going to add huge list of radio specific quirks to the ui, its already big enough as it is right now.

Also iwlist is deprecated, along with all other tools using wext. Also it says "unknown transmit-power information" right there. Use iw to find radio details.
