Description

several DUID generation problems found in /etc/init.d/dhcp6c

  1. if DUID is given in /etc/config/dhcp6c, the length prefix 00:0a is missing, also low/big endian detection not catched here
  1. at least on my Linksys WRT54 here, the low/big endian detection mechanism is not working proper

Attached diff and new version of the file, which fixes both issues

  • Resolution set to obsolete
  • Status changed from new to closed

The patch does not apply against the current version of wide-dhcpv6-client and the init script already has been reworked to better handle user DUIDs. Feel free to reopen this ticket if the new version still has issues.
