[ath9k] Mac filtering in ad-hoc mode not working

Reported by: filipebteixeira@… Owned by: developers

Component: packages Version: Backfire 10.03.1 RC5

Description

I have 3 nodes in ad-hoc mode and I want to perform MAC filtering so that I can force them to perform multihop.

I set up the MAC filtering in LuCI interface, but it does nothing. It doesn't matter if it is in whitelist or blacklist mode, the filter is not applied.

The hardware is a routerstation pro, with a ath9k NIC.

MAC80211 mac filtering happens via hostapd which is not used in Ad-Hoc mode. I'll close this as wontfix since its a gui bug to even allow this.
